The Supreme Court bench of Justices Madan B Lokur and Deepak Gupta on Wednesday
(December 6) dealing with large-scale flagrant violations related to immoveable properties in Delhi criticized the commissioner of South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) for allowing establishment of Sai Kunj, a residential property on the agricultural land.

The bench also directed the commissioner to be present on the next date of hearing.

It was submitted that interim order had already been given on the Sai Kunj, now court have to pass final order. In 1991 this property was sealed and monitoring committee was set up in 2006. Order came in March 2006; the tenant is only one who is using the property.
