Is There any Prohibition on Homeopathic Practitioners to Treat COVID-19 Patient’s: Kerala HC asks Govt.

The Kerala High Court asked State Government whether there is any prohibition that is in force that prevents Homeopathic Practitioners in the State from practicing their system of medicine in relation to Covid-19 patients.

A bench of the Kerala HC consisting of Justice AK Jayasankaran Nambiar and Justice Shaji P Chaly was hearing a plea filed by Advocate MS Vineeth appearing in person, seeking a direction to the State Government to permit the Homeopathic Practitioners to follow the advisory notification in the State of Kerala to treat COVID-19 patients.

Advocate P Narayanan, counsel appearing for the State Govt sought time to obtain directions from the State Government whether the Homeopathic Practitioners were allowed to treat COVID-19 patients.

The bench has listed the matter for next hearing on April 17.
