The Supreme Court today extended the tenure of Chairperson of Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT), Js. Shiva Kirti Singh, by three more months.
The term of Js. Shiva Kirti Singh (former Supreme Court judge) as TDSAT Chairperson was set to expire on April 20. He had assumed the office on April 21, 2017.
The Bench headed by CJI Bobde also directed the Centre to expedite appointment process for TDSAT members as administrative member retired in October 2018 while technical member retired in 2019.
