Former Karnataka Minister G J Reddy files plea seeking approval to see his ailing father-in-law

Former Karnataka Minister G Janardhan Reddy on Thursday moved apex court seeking approval to visit Ballari to see his ailing father-in-law.

The court said that it will hear the plea tomorrow.

Reddy has been booked for fraud in ponzi scheme involving hundreds of crores of rupees. Reddy has been booked under various IPC sections including section 120 B (criminal conspiracy), section 204 (destruction of evidence), Section 420 (cheating) and also under various sections of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002.
