The apex court on Monday refused to entertain a plea by a Popular Front of India (PFI) member, Asim Sharif challenging the framing of charges against him in the RSS activist Rudresh murder case.

Sharif had challenged a HC’s order of denying to release him from both the charges, of murder and of involving in terrorist activities.

Rudresh was allegedly killed by Sharif when he was returning after attending an event in Bengaluru.

The National Investigating Agency is investigating the case.
