The apex court on Thursday issued contempt notice against the three Amrapali Directors — Anil Kumar Sharma (Chairman and MD), Shiv Priya and Ajay Kumar.

The court also directed the Directors to spend next fifteen nights in Hotel Ascent in Sector-64, Noida instead of police lock up. But it disallowed mobile use of Directors at night and also denied them meeting with others at night.

It also asked the SHO of Sector-58, Noida to supervise the cataloguing of documents and keep a watch on the Directors in the process.

The court said that the forensic audit should be completed within ten weeks from today. “The presence of directors if any in other court will be exempted till the time.”

It also directed the Registrar to issue message to the IndusInd Bank, Noida to transfer Rs 20 lakh from the Directors’ account to forensic auditors’ account.

The matter will again be heard on Nov 20.

The court was hearing a plea by home buyers seeking possession of 48 thousand flats promised by Amrapali builders.
