The Supreme Court Collegium comprising the Chief Justice of India and senior judges Justice Bobde and Justice Ramana have on 25^th July, 2019 recommended the name of seven advocates to be elevated to the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana High Courts. These names were already under the recommendation process when two separate High Courts came to be constituted viz., Andhra Pradesh High Court and Telangana High Court.

• The Advocates recommended for elevation to Andhra Pradesh High Court are:

1. Shri R. Raghunandan Rao
2. Shri Battu Devanand
3. Shri D. Ramesh
4. Shri N. Jayasurya

• The Advocates recommended for elevation to Telangana High Court are:

1. Shri T. Vinod Kumar
2. Shri A. Abhishek Reddy
3. Shri K. Lakshman

Their inter se seniority will be fixed as per the existing practice.
