Bombay High Court rapped public prosecutor over delay in the trial of Jiah Khan’s death case. The court said that by seeking extensions, the public prosecutor is unnecessarily wasting time, and delaying the trial.
Giving an ultimatum, the court directed that the trial should start by May 5th.

Even in February this year, the court had scolded the public prosecutor for consistent delay in starting the trial. During that time, the court was informed that they are still waiting for CBI’s investigation report.
Jiah Khan, a British American actress who worked in three Hindi movies was founded dead at her apartment in Juhu, Mumbai. Her mother has claimed that she was murdered by her boyfriend Suraj Pancholi. The trial is expected to bring out the truth of Jiah Khan’s death.
