Delhi HC judge Valmiki Mehta passes away


[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Justice Valmiki Mehta, a sitting judge of Delhi High Court has died of heart attack on Friday morning, reports said. Confirming his death, Bar Council of India (BCI) said in a statement: “The news of sudden demise of Justice Mehta has come as a shock to legal fraternity and as a big loss to the Bar and the Bench.” Born on June 6, 1959, Mehta assumed office as Additional Judge, Delhi High Court on April 15, 2009. Mehta had a long career in law. He started his law practice in Delhi High Court in 1982. He was designated as Senior Advocate on Sep 22, 2001.
