A PIL has been filed in Delhi High Court seeking court-monitored investigation through Special Investigation Team (SIT) in the recent attack where a temple was defaced in Chandni Chowk.
A temple in Hauz Qazi area was vandalized following a scuffle between the two communities over parking of a scooty. Minor clashes also broke out after the temple was desecrated.
The members of the two communities met on Tuesday to restore peace in the affected area and assured that they will rein-in clashes.
