The Supreme Court Collegium comprising the Chief Justice of India and senior judges Justice SA Bobde and Justice NV Ramana have on 25^th July, 2019 recommended the name of five advocates to be elevated as Judges to the Punjab & Haryana High Court, in concurrence with Chief Ministers and the Governors for the States of Punjab & Haryana.

• The Advocates recommended for elevation as Judges to Punjab & Haryana High Court are:

1. Shri Jasgurpreet Singh Puri,
2. Shri Suvir Sehgal,
3. Shri Girish Agnihotri,
4. Mrs. Alka Sarin,
5. Shri Kamal Sehgal,

Their inter se seniority will be fixed as per the existing practice.
