The Allahabad High Court on Monday (January 15) has sought replies from the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and University Grants Commission (UGC) on the appointments without roster in BHU.

The bench of Justices Pankaj Mittal and Irshad Ali said that selection or appointment at BHU will be decided after the plea is disposed of.

The bench was acting on the plea Dr Angad Kumar Singh and two others who have challenged the appointments at BHU without roster.
