The National Green Tribunal (NGT) on Wednesday (January 3) dealing with the ash generated from the thermal power plant asked all the respondent states to submit their action plan with regard to usage of ash arising out from thermal power plant and utilisation of these ash in eco-friendly manner.

The bench comprising of Acting Chairperson Justice U D Salvi and Expert Member Dr Nagin Nanda directed the respondent states to submit the action plan to Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoEF). It directed MoEF produce all the action plan filed by the respondent states before the Tribunal on next date of hearing.
