Patiala House scuffle case up for hearing on March 10

The Supreme Court today adjourned the Patiala House scuffle matter to March 10.

The matter was taken up by the bench around 11.15 am when the bench read all the reports submitted by various parties.

After going through all the reports, around 12.15 pm, it ordered that the reports be circulated amont the parties.

Senior advocate Ranjit Kumar for Union of India stated that in case the reports get published, it should not influence the bail petition coming up for hearing in High Court tomorrow.

Senior advocate KTS Tulsi who appeared for the petitioner submitted that reports are only on the compliance of the order of the case, and has nothing to do with the merits of the case. “So let the reports be circulated,” he said.

The court directed the registry of Supreme Court to supply the reports to parties within three days.

Meanwhile, the court dismissed an intervention petition filed by Shahadra Bar Association to initiate contempt proceedings against Kanhaiya Kumar.
