Four of Kasauli’s illegally constructed hotels, Hotel AAA, Shivalik, Nilagiri and Divshikha, got the stay orders from the Supreme Court on Tuesday (July 18) on the NGT demolition order.

The counsel for hotel Rudra Resort was not able to answer questions about the sewage, water resources and management related questions. The bench imposed a Rs 1 lakh fine on the hotel and dismissed the case related to this particular hotel.

The hotels have appealed to the top court against the NGT’s order of demolition for illegal construction in Kasauli, in Himachal Pradesh.

The next date for hearing is September 4.
