Minor children in Rangpura Shelter Home in the Phaphmau area of ​​Allahabad have been harassed and abused. This case came up for hearing before the Allahabad High Court. On June 29 the division bench of Justices Sudhir Agrawal and Daya Shankar Tripathi ordered the arrest of those responsible for the harassment.

The Court gave instructions on how to treat the victim children.

The state government’s advocate gave information to the court on the state of affairs at the home. The petition by law intern Aditi Singh and others has also asked for the cancellation of registration of the home.

The petition also incorporated statements of the victims and has asked for an order for compensation.
