DHCBA to close its office in Delhi HC premises over Covid-19 surge

Advocate Abhijat said the move was being taken only on a precautionary basis and the rumours about a lot of lawyers testing positive for the infection were completely false.

ILNS: With the second wave of novel coronavirus hitting the national capital hard, not even sparing the members and staff of the Supreme Court, the Delhi High Court Bar Association (DHCBA) on Monday decided to close down its office in the premises of the Delhi High Court.

“We have decided to close the Delhi High Court Bar Association (DHCBA) office in the Delhi High Court, in view of the rising number of cases of COVID-19,” said Advocate Abhijat, Member Secretary of the Association.

Talking to India Legal on phone, Advocate Abhijat said the move was being taken only on a precautionary basis and the rumours about a lot of lawyers testing positive for the infection were completely false.
