The Supreme Court bench of Justices Adarsh Kumar Goel and Uday Umesh Lalit on Friday (July 21) dismissed a petition by TTV Dinakaran seeking a stay on all charges against him in a FERA case.
Dinakaran, who is the AIADMK’s deputy chief and is the nephew of VK Sasikala, jailed partner of former Tamil Nadu chief minister, Late J Jayalalithaa, had appealed against a Madras High Court order. Not receiving a judgement in his favour, Dinakaran had moved the top court.
This appeal was dismissed by the top court.
