Justice Narayana appointed head of UP Human Rights Commission

 Justice Bala Krishna Narayana, former Judge of the Allahabad High Court, has been appointed as the new Chairperson of the Uttar Pradesh Human Rights Commission.

This was announced on Thursday through a notification by Anandiben Patel, Governor of Uttar Pradesh.

He will remain in the post for three years, or till he reaches the age of 70, the notification said.
