Justice P S Teji is being appointed the Chairman of the Police Complaints Authority of Delhi.

Justice Teji retired as Delhi High Court judge in August this year after holding office for more than four years. The three-member PCA is headed by a retired judge of the High Court and the two other members are a retired senior civil servant and a senior police officer not below the rank of Joint Commissioner of Police.

The PCA is tasked with dealing with complaints from common citizens against police personnel on matters like custodial death, custodial rape, extortion or any serious abuse of power.
