The National Green Tribunal has issued a notification which states that one of its officers posted in the General Administration section of the Principal bench has been found COVID positive.
The officer had attended office last on May 17 and is presently hospitalized.
The Tribunal has further stated that all necessary protocols are being followed and contact tracing is in progress and high risk contacts have been asked to self quarantine themselves for a period of 14 days.
Further, the Tribunal has ensured that the premises shall remain under deep sanitization and no officer, staff, advocate, litigant or public shall be permitted to have access to the premises of the Tribunal from May 23.
The Tribunal has stated that further decision will be taken in accordance with the advice of health authorities on May 25.
