Provide Reading Material For Visually Impaired: Delhi HC Directs DU

The Delhi High Court today directed that within three weeks on receipt of the request the Delhi University will provide at least two prescribed reading materials or books to visually impaired students.

A divisional bench of the Delhi HC comprising Justice Hima Kohli and Justice Subramonium Prasad while hearing the matter through video conferencing has asked the Delhi University to inform how much time will be needed for the declaration of results for OBE.

However, the Senior Advocate Mr. Rungta pressed that the results of OBE and Physical exams be declared together.

The OBE examinations are to be commenced from 10th August 2020, further the Court has directed DU to inform all the OBE students about the two options available to them with regards to the submission of answer sheets.
