An appeal by Arvind Kumar to look into the possibility of whether experience as a judicial officer can be counted on par with the advocates for the post of district judge came up before the Supreme Court bench of Justices J Chelameswar and S Abdul Nazeer.

Justice Chelameswar directed the matter to be tagged along with the already pending similar matter.
