The Secretary of the State Legal Services Authority of Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday (September 12) submitted to the Allahabad High Court bench of Chief Justice DB Bhosale and Justice MK Gupta a report on the death of several children at the government’s BRD Medical College recently. The report was in a sealed cover.

The court is hearing the case.

A sealed report was also submitted from the state government.

The next hearing of the case will be held on September 18 at the Allahabad High Court. The court had handed over the inquiry to the Secretary of Legal Services Authority and the division bench will be hearing this case.

Several children had died in the hospital, many due to a lack of oxygen when the vendors cut off supply due to non-payment and others from encephalitis.
