UP Law Minister Brajesh Pathak writes to Lucknow DM to set up RTPCR test centres, convert community halls into Covid hospitals

Brajesh Pathak, the Uttar Pradesh Minister of Legislative Affairs, Justice, Rural Engineering, has written to the District Magistrate, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh to set up RT-PCR test centres in all wards of Lucknow constituency keeping in view the current COVID pandemic situation which is getting worsen day-by-day. Pathak asked that families in home isolation be provided facility for telemedicine too. He has also sought facilities for pulse oximeters at those Centres.

Through his letter, dated April 15, the Minister has also asked the District Magistrate Lucknow to issue such directions so as to convert banquet halls, community centres and guest houses into L1 & L2 temporary Covid hospitals in which oxygen cylinder facilities should be provided to patients. 

Municipal Commissioner should be directed to start the sanitisation drive in each ward of Lucknow constituency and for that sufficient funds should be provided from his MLA fund, said Cabinet Minister. 

Further, he said he is willing to offer Rs 1 crore assistance immediately from his MLA fund for the following welfare works.

Brajesh Pathak is a Member of the 17th Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh. He is the Cabinet Minister of the Legislative Affairs, Justice, Rural Engineering in the Uttar Pradesh Government.
