A single-judge bench of Allahabad High Court while hearing a Criminal Misc Bail Application filed by Saurabhpal granted conditional bail to the accused of raping a minor girl and has directed to release him on personal bond and two sureties.

The Supreme Court has released on bail two men convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment in murder cases after taking note that both had undergone 11 years and 8 months & for 15 years of actual custody without remission, respectively.
