The Supreme Court agreed to hear on Wednesday, a petition filed by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) against the decision of Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena permitting members nominated by him to vote in the Municipal Corporation elections for the post of Mayor and Deputy Mayor

Hemant Singh in the complaint in FIR stated that his father was doing the work of supply of water through tankers since 2005. Since the accused Prakash Jarwal had won and become MLA of Aam Aadmi Party, he and one Kapil Nagar who worked with him started harassing his father for money regularly.
