Additional Solicitor General Chetan Sharma

Advocates, who are standing counsels for the Delhi government, say they haven't been paid for the last 4-5 years. They have moved Delhi High Court for the recovery of the money. Delhi High Court Chief Justice D.N. Patel Justice Jyoti Singh said they should be at least paid dues of over 6 months.

The Delhi High Court directed the Additional Solicitor General Chetan Sharma to look into the matter, while hearing the plea filed by a practising Advocate at Delhi, seeking medical treatment for his 72-year-old father, a cancer patient.

Delhi High court has [ulled up the Centre for not translating draft Environment Impact Assessment in all 22 languages saying the task should nit be as difficult in modern-day period as is being made out to be by the Centre.
