Any indecent or derogatory, defamatory or motivated, statements made in the Print, Electronic or Social Media against any Court or Judge or any member of Judiciary, by any Advocate shall be a ground for his/her suspension or disqualification, said the amended Bar Council of India rules.
The Court also said every Advocate needs to maintain the grace and the dignity of the profession. One cannot wear T-shirt and Jeans and come to Court, the Temple of Justice.
A Circular of the Supreme Court dated November 6 states that there shall be no unauthorized sharing of links by Advocates on Record and parties-in-person without the permission of the Court for hearing of matter through video conferencing.
