New Delhi (ILNS): In a big relief to the self-proclaimed rapist godman Asaram Bapu the Rajasthan High Court has accepted his plea for an early hearing.

The Delhi High Court today set aside a lower court order restraining the publication of a book titled 'Gunning for the Godman: The True Story Behind Asaram Bapu's Conviction'.

Gujarat High Court has rejected the temporary bail application of Asaram Bapu on the ground that since Asaram Bapu has thousands of followers, there is a strong possibility that on his release, his followers will congregate to meet him, which will aggravate the distressing situation of COVID 19 Pandemic.
