The Supreme Court bench directed that the matter of pandemic in kerala be listed on 13th September and there was a stay on operation of the exam schedule.

The Bench said the affidavit submitted by the State of Kerala discloses a sorry state of affairs and does not in any real manner safeguard the right to health guaranteed to the citizens under Article 21

"The Kanwar yatra is postponed this year, like last year, because of Covid-19 pandemic. If the local devotee want to go for local yatra and wish to do 'Abhishek,' it will be allowed," the Counsel of State of Uttar Pradesh submitted before the Supreme Court.
