A case has been filed against Baba Ramdev for his remark wherein he had threatened to behead all those who fail to chant ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’. The case has been filed by Mohd Bin Omer, a medical college student from Hyderabad, and an activist of city-based Darsgah Jihad-O-Shahadat.

The case was filed under Section 295 A of IPC, which states that any deliberate and malicious acts intended to outrage religious feelings is punishable.

DCP (south) V Satyanarayana said in Hyderabad,  “We are investigating the complaint and the video. Based on the probe, action will be initiated against Baba Ramdev,”

As per the complaint, Omer saw a Youtube video wherein Baba Ramdev was making this speech about beheading people; and this prompted him to file the complaint at Mirchowk police station in Hyderabad.
