The Central Government on Tuesday informed the Delhi High Court that the Centre has taken proactive measures based upon rational and justifiable policy to start vaccinating the citizens depending upon their vulnerability to disease.

Judges of the Supreme Court will receive their first Covid-19 vaccine shot from tomorrow. Family members of the judges will also be inoculated in the vaccination drive.

The Delhi High Court has today directed the authorities to consider PIL seeking inclusion of judges, judicial staff, advocates, and the members of the legal fraternity in the first phase of COVID-19 vaccination.

Even as many nations are battling the deadly pandemic, India, a world leader in health, has lent a helping hand by exporting vaccines to them. This diplomatic move could also help in medical tourism.

The petition has been filed by Advocate Vishal Tiwari arguing that the criminal organizations may cause a threat to the public health and safety by circulating the fake and counterfeit vaccines for COVID-19.

Even as the world awaits the arrival of a Covid-19 vaccine, the reality is slowly dawning that this deadly virus is likely to stick around for some time, creating havoc. Under these circumstances, how are various courts delivering justice?

The Supreme Court today adjourned a plea seeking prosecution of pharmaceutical companies selling unlicensed drugs as Covid-19 vaccine, asking the counsel to study the government rules concerning the issue.
