The Delhi government has informed the Delhi High Court that during the three rounds of Sero-Surveillance it was found that Covid-19 was more prevalent among women belonging to the age group 18 to 49 years, as compared to those below 18 years and those who are above 50 years, of the same gender.

The Delhi High Court today stayed the Delhi government’s order directing private hospitals to reserve 80 percent of ICU beds for COVID-19 patients. The petition alleged that the decision of reserving the beds is denying them treatment, as well as exposing non-COVID-19 patients to the risk of COVID-19.
The state government today informed the Delhi High Court that it will provide widows Rs 2,500 as monthly pension and a one-time payment of Rs 1 lakh for the marriage of their daughters.
