President of the Society of Indian Law Firms (SILF) Dr. Lalit Bhasin ,the President of the Society of Indian Law and Senior Advocate Harish Salve have been awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at the House of Lords, Westminster, London.

The UK-India Legal Partnership organised the ceremony which was attended by several eminent dignitaries, and  the Parliamentarians.

The ceremony also marked the presence of the  King’s Counsel including Lubna Shuja, President of the Law Society of England and Wales, Mark Fenhalls KC, President of the Bar Council of the United Kingdom, Virender Sharma, Member, House of Commons, and Ajit Mishra, Chairman, UK-India Legal Partnership.

The UK India Legal Partnership (UKILP), which is a knowledge-based forum for senior lawyers across both countries, has announced their first Annual Awards this year at the House of the Lords, Westminster London.

The famous Environment lawyer Sudhir Mishra, Door Tenant at No. 5 Barristers’ Chambers has also been awarded l.

Lawyer Sudhir Mishra from the United Kingdom, is the Founder & Managing Partner of Trust Legal and has received the Environmental Lawyer of the Year Award 2022 at the House of Lords.

ILNS: The Society of Indian Law Firms (SILF) will organise an event on Saturday to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee (60 years) of the Advocates Act, 1961, through an online platform.

Senior leaders of the bar will speak on diverse topics covered under the Act, led by Fali S. Nariman.
