Draft EIA

The High Court of Delhi today issued notice to the Central Government on an application seeking extension of time for public comments on new Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) draft notification.

The Supreme Court today stayed the Delhi High Court’s contempt of court proceedings initiated against the Ministry of Environment and Forest (MOEF) for failing to publish the draft EIA notification in multiple regional languages.
