Tennis legend Leander Paes’ estranged live-in partner Rhea Pillai was present before the Supreme Court bench of Justices Arun Mishra and Amitava Roy with draft terms and conditions of their out-of-court settlement as suggested by the court the last time they were here in February.

The court asked the parties to exchange the draft terms and conditions and sought to list the hearing on May 9, but since Rhea had to go back to Mumbai, the bench said: “Go through the terms and conditions and come at the end of the vacation.”

Rhea had approached Supreme Court, claiming that she was in a “matrimonial relationship” with Paes and was thus entitled to relief under the special Domestic Violence law.
