The petitioner in Jammu and High Court in view of the scenario of Covid-19, filed urged concerned Authorities that he be granted an extension in service up to the end of 2021.

The Supreme Court today said that the Government needs to do more in order to protect the corona Warriors while hearing a plea seeking accommodation and quarantine facilities for health workers involved in treating COVID-19 patients.

The Delhi High Court has taken the state and central governments to task in dozens of orders regarding conditions for “Corona Warriors”. They covered PPE kits, proper accommodation, allowing unhindered transportation, etc.
