Justice Bela M Trivedi

The CJI administered oath to Justices Abhay Shreeniwas Oka, Vikram Nath, Jitendra Kumar Maheshwari, Hima Kohli, B.V. Nagarathna, CT Ravikumar, M.M. Sundresh, Bela Trivedi and P.S. Narsimha.

Justice Trivedi was born on June 10, 1960. After pursuing her B Com and LLB, she got enrolled as an advocate on September 18, 1983.

The petition contended that Section 12 and 13 of the Disaster Management Act have laid down the guidelines for granting minimum standard of relief to the persons affected by disasters like Covid-19, which has been denied to them by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation
