All 17 were charged under Sections 143, 147, 148, 149, 452, 427, 324, 307 and 436 of the IPC and Section 3 of the Explosive Substances Act.

As per the case of prosecution, Indumathi (deceased ) and her sister Praveena had gone to school, on the way they were hit by a tractor from behind.

The Supreme Court on Friday dismissed the bail application filed by a man in jail for the last nine months in an NDPS case, caught with 8-9 kg of Ganja.

Anjani Kumar Shukla contends before the High court that the prosecution admits per se that crime has occurred at the place of Anjani Kumar Shukla.

Justice Dinesh observed – “The trial court neither speak about concurrent or consecutive. The petitioner has served 5 years under section 363, 7 years under section 366, 10 years for 376 IPC.”

The prosecution case is that a girl of 13 years had gone to school on 15th January and she didn’t return therefore her father filed a complaint to the Police Station.

The petitioner says that the said writ was last listed before the court in March 2019 and since then it has not been listed, despite many applications for listing. Moreover, the matter is for final hearing as a counter and rejoinders have already been placed.

A three-judge bench of Justices A.M. Khanwilkar, Dinesh Maheshwari & Sanjiv Khanna has directed to list the matter with other similar matter.
