The Kohima Bench of Gauhati High Court observed that on various dates, time was granted to the State counsel to obtain instructions in the matter and it is seen by the Bench that notice has not yet been issued to the respondents.

While considering the PIL to make NSSB functional in order to conduct Nagaland government group-c posts, Gauhati High Court noted that ever since the petition was filed, in compliance with the directions given there have been step by step developments towards making the board functional.

The Gauhati High Court on December 16 registered a Suo Motu PIL on the issue of indiscriminate felling of trees in Aizawl.
