The Supreme Court on Monday refused to stay inquiry against e-commerce giants Amazon and Flipkart by the Anti-Competitive Commission for alleged Competition Law Violations, stating "Big Corporates like Amazon and Flipkart should be subject to transparency and inquiry."
The bench of Justices Vineet Saran and Dinesh Maheshwari observed that without considering the facts of the case, "the question as to whether the allegations in the FIR or complaint prima facie constitute any offence or make out a case against the accused, cannot be decided".

The Supreme Court has directed to repatriate three girls to their parents while hearing the plea filed by “Rescue Foundation” against the Bombay High Court order in the case of rescued minor girls from brothels.
The petitioner says that the said writ was last listed before the court in March 2019 and since then it has not been listed, despite many applications for listing. Moreover, the matter is for final hearing as a counter and rejoinders have already been placed.
