The plaintiff contended that since there is an ongoing CBI investigation in the death of SSR, the fictitious portrayal of the circumstances surrounding his death will prejudice the case of the Plaintiff.

The Delhi High Court on Thursday dismissed the plea of the late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s father Krishna Kishore Singh’s application for injunction against Sarla A Sarogi’s movie Nyay - the justice on the life and death of of Rajput. Hence there will be no stay on the release of the film.
