The Delhi High Court has asked the Delhi University to come clear on its stand on the supplementary examination system within a week on a plea filed by final year law students of the university’s law faculty.

The Delhi High Court today issued notice to the Bar Council of India, Delhi University and Central government in a plea filed a law student who was debarred from examination due to lack of attendance as he was suffering from typhoid and was a suspect of tuberculosis.

It is with deep regret sadness that India Legal announces the passing away of Prof. (Dr) Suraj Prasad Singh, an eminent figure who donned many robes in the field of law.
