The Supreme Court on Friday quashed criminal proceedings and a non-bailable warrant issued against a woman in a case of alleged suicide under the SC/ST Act and observed that abetment involves the mental process of instigating or intentionally aiding a person in doing a thing.
Advocates, who are standing counsels for the Delhi government, say they haven't been paid for the last 4-5 years. They have moved Delhi High Court for the recovery of the money. Delhi High Court Chief Justice D.N. Patel Justice Jyoti Singh said they should be at least paid dues of over 6 months.
The Supreme Court on Thursday has expressed its concerns over the education of children orphaned due to the coronavirus and asked States and Union Territories to implement welfare measures for the orphaned children at the earliest.
