The Supreme Court today declined to entertain a plea challenging the order of the Madras High Court’s division Bench which stayed the single bench’s order restraining Patanjali Ayurveda from using the trademark 'Coronil'.

Justice AR Lakshmanan, former judge of the Supreme Court and former Chairman Law Commission of India, passed away this morning. He was 78.

Vedanta has filed a plea in the Supreme Court challenging the Madras High Court order which dismissed its plea to reopen the Sterlite Copper’s smelter unit at Thoothukudi.
