Replying to Kejriwal, Delhi BJP spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor said that the statements of the chief minister and other AAP leaders in the context of the municipal elections reflected their political frustration and lust for power in civic bodies.

A single-judge bench disposed a Petition filed by Furniture Block Market Association seeking stay on the sealing order dated 15/03/2022 passed by the  North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NrDMC) and direction to not to take any coercive action against the members of the Petitioner-Association.

The petition has been filed by the East Delhi Municipal Corporation seeking direction to the respondent authorities to ensure that there is no obstruction in the performance of duties by the petitioner

A two judge bench of Justices Vipin Sanghi and Rajnish Bhatnagar said that there was no doubt in allowing this petition in any manner, but the question was why the petitioner was pretending to be the ‘saviour’ of these teachers.

The Delhi High Court today directed the Delhi government and the Central government to conduct a meeting with the three Municipal Corporations’ representatives to know the financial difficulties being suffered by the MCD departments.
