Motor Vehicle Accident Case

In an important ruling the Supreme Court Judge, Justice N.V. Ramana has explained the importance of determining notional income for homemakers including grant of future prospects, for the purpose of grant of compensation in Motor Vehicle accident cases.

The Supreme Court on Tuesday has allowed the appeal filed by Savitha, a housewife, who survived motor accident more than a decade ago but it left her partially disabled. She has appealed against inadequacy of compensation granted to her in a motor accident case.
