The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare was apprised by the Supreme Court on Friday to reconsider its decision for not lowering the qualifying cut-off  percentile for admissions to the Bachelor of Dental Surgery(BDS) within a weeks time.

The Supreme Court on Monday refused to defer the NEET examination, scheduled to be held on September 12, stating that it cannot cause pain to 16 lakh students, who have already prepared for it, just for the convenience of a few students.
