The Supreme Court today has issued notice in a plea filed by a Nigerian national accused of duping a man to the tune of Rs 66, 99,400 after enticing him to purchase “Akigbara Seeds” which is allegedly used as an ingredient in medicine for cancer treatment.

Supreme Court bench heard the petitioner's counsel and observed that, It is not a case where the accusation on the petitioner is for the offence mentioned in IPC that he will get the relief on the basis of slow process of trail and been in custody for a long period.
